Requesting a Transaction to renew your PRC ID Online

Before you reach this step, you must have had registered first online in order to renew your PRC ID online.

If you already have your account, proceed.

REQUESTING AN APPOINTMENT FOR PRC ID RENEWAL

On your account page, click select transaction on the right side bar and then you will be presented with a form asking for your profession and your ID number.

Proceed and you will see a calendar.

You have to choose first where you will be picking up your PRC ID. After choosing a branch, you'll see the calendar with dates and number of available appointments in a day. On the right side, you'll see a brief overview of how much you need to pay and brief appointment details!

Those abroad can renew their license online but they have to pick a branch in the Philippines. For now, you can't have your license mailed via courier after renewal. There's also no option to have someone pick up your ID but it may be possible with an affidavit or SPA.

TIP: You may set your date of appointment for the next day. However the problem is that you need to pay, payment verification takes up to 2 days and printing your ID will take time. However, if you've set a date and upon getting to the PRC branch the ID is not yet available, you can return again without any appointment (just bring claim stub) to claim your ID. So as an advise, it's best to set an appointment about 2-3 weeks in advance. If you miss your date, just go back any day to get your ID.

After you've set your appointment you just need to pay for your appointment!

How to pay for online PRC ID Renewal!

Scroll down to the bottom of the appointment page and you'll see the following.

Unfortunately, Credit Card, Bancnet, 7-11 do not work as of the moment. You can choose Bayad Center/Multipay and BDO over the counter deposit.. The best one so far is the Bayad Center. Once you click that, a reference number immediately pops up and you can copy that so you can pay to the nearest Bayad Center. This is the easiest as you can pay in LBC where you don't have to compete with that many people as opposed to BDO.

For other Bayad Centers to pay for your online PRC ID renewal, you can check the website http://www.bayadcenter.com/ to find one near you.

*YOUR PRC ID RENEWAL IS NOT VALID UNTIL
YOU SEE A CONFIRMATION OF YOUR PAYMENT*

Wait for 24 to 48 hours after payment and login again to https://www.prc-online.com and check your existing transactions. You can see a reference number there and the status. If your payment has been accepted, this means you can go ahead print a claim stub shown on the transaction page. Or you can check your email for your claim stub! The claim stub will have your picture and a QR code that the PRC can scan for your online ID renewal .

Alternatively, you may take a picture of your claim stub with your camera phone. It might take some charming of the security guard and staff of PRC but some people were successful in having their QR code scanned from their smartphones.

Good luck and God Bless!
