Disaster girl is a photoshop meme of a girl named Zoe Roth photographed smiling devilishly while a house was burning. The photo was taken sometime in 2004 but only rose to fame in 2007 when users began photoshopping Zoe to a lot of catastrophes and accidents.
The Disaster Girl memes include Zoe being photoshopped unto a picture of the titanic sinking, the explosion of an atomic bomb and even innocent pictures such as Teletubbies to simulate some sort of evil master plan with only her smile hinting you of the evils within.
The search for who the girl is in the picture started in 2008 and peaked until 2011. During this time, Zoe's father Dave Roth, kept on posting pictures of her in his Flickr acount.
